On Monday (24.06.24), we went to Nadezhda and joined with Hope in Bulgaria. We started the day near the area of the working dump where many people live. Here, we did a ladies’ clothes give-out. Many ladies came and were blessed with something new to wear. While the women had a lovely time looking through the clothes, we were able to pray with a few people.
Once the women had finished getting their clothes, we began with the children’s clothes give-out. As each child came in, we took the time to make a personalized bag of clothes for each one. Some of the toddlers even got a teddy bear to comfort them as they patiently waited for their bag, and nappies/diapers were put in the bags of clothes for the babies.
We then went down to the tiny cul-de-sac to give clothes packages to the children there. While there, we were told that there was a young lady who is blind and has been in pain with her abdomen. Her family asked if we could visit and pray for her.
We ended the day by walking through the streets, giving out the remaining clothes packages to anyone who needed them.
