Tarnicheni’s Care Home Christmas Hampers

Yesterday (17/12/24), we had the privilege of visiting Tarnicheni’s Care Home for our annual Christmas visit. This special tradition allows us to bring joy to the residents by giving each one a Christmas hamper.

This year, the hampers were filled with both fun and practical gifts. Each hamper contained toiletries, a new washcloth and towel, a torch, a back scratcher, a word search, and many other thoughtful items. One of the most meaningful gifts was a beautiful photo of the scenery around us, accompanied by a Bible verse on each one and a prayer of salvation on the back. In addition to individual hampers, we also created a communal hamper filled with puzzles, playing cards, and many other fun activities for the whole Care Home to enjoy.

For the first time at of all of the yearly visits, Steve had the opportunity to share the love of Jesus and the gift of salvation that He paid for. One of the elderly ladies became so excited as Steve spoke, joyfully proclaiming her love for Jesus.
