It is that time of year again when we have the privilege of delivering Christmas hampers to the elderly residents of Tarnichani. These hampers are a simple way of letting them know that they are seen, loved, and valued by God.
This year’s hampers focused on foot care, along with a few sweet treats. We also included a shared gift for each household in the form of board games and puzzles, creating opportunities for connection and enjoyment.
This year was slightly different, as the residents have temporarily relocated to a hotel in a nearby town while their nursing home in the village is being renovated and extended. When we arrived, many were surprised and pleased that we had found them in their new location. Some residents were new, while others remembered us from previous visits.
We would like to thank everyone who partnered with us financially to support this project. Your generosity has made a meaningful difference to the residents this Christmas.
