On the 15th of April 2025, we had the joy of visiting our long-term friends at Blyan Day Centre. As many of you may already know, Blyan exists to support children and adults with additional needs, and it’s always a blessing to spend time with them.
We began our visit by sharing the Easter story—the death and resurrection of Jesus! One of the staff kindly helped tell the story, whilst also using cartoon visuals to bring the story to life. The service users were fully engaged and joined in with the parts they remembered, which was so beautiful to witness.
After the story, we had a moment to pray together and shared the core of the Gospel: that Jesus came to earth, died for us, and rose again—because He loves us.
To finish off our time, we handed out chocolate bunny treats to each person. Their joy and smiles were absolutely priceless! A few even asked to take photos with us, sharing that they love having their photo taken and that they enjoy each time we visit.
