The Blyan Center 2014

A photo of some of the staff, the children and a few of the people that visited in 2014.

In summer 2014, God opened the door into a children’s home in the town of Razlog. At this time some of the children that lived in the children’s home were not orphans, but were from really poor families that could not afford to keep them. So the children would live at the children’s home for most of the year, but in the summer holidays they return back to their families. When the holidays ended they would have to leave their families again and return to the children’s home. The first time we visited the children’s home Steve, Samuel and a few English friends went there . When they were shown around the children’s home, they saw some beds that really needed replacing.

After seeing these beds, we felt that God wanted us to buy new beds for this children’s home. We went to the furniture shop and put all the money we had on the deposit for the beds needed. We then found out that the new beds were coming in two days, we needed God to do a miracle for the rest of the money. We asked some of our friends to pray and within 24 hours God went above and beyond the money we needed for the new beds. We not only bought the beds, but also bought mattress protectors for each one and some mosquito window blinds.

Since that day of replacing the beds, the door has been opened for us to do other things within this children’s home. For instance, we have been able to provide a petrol lawn mower, a power drill , an iron, some towels, baby travel cots and two pushchairs, children’s clothing, some toys and toiletries. We have also been able to give some Christmas presents, chocolate bunnies for Easter, play and share Jesus with the children.

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus”. Philippians 4:19
